En el año 2000 la cadena de televisión estadounidense VH1 hizo un sondeo entre sus televidentes para que éstos votaran las 100 mejores canciones de la música rock.
Que esta votación se realizara en el año 2000 no supone, a mi modo de ver, que se encuentre desfasada porque años antes ya de que se publicara este sondeo ya no se hacían composiciones dignas de ser recordadas.
Es sólo mi opinión, claro.

Pero bueno, he de reconocer que tampoco echo demasiado de menos a los Deep Purple, lo cual no quiere decir que no reconozca su categoría, simplemente no es mi rollo.

Entiendo que la lista está realizada como está realizada pero… hay, para mi, dos ausencias flagrantes, amén de excesivas reiteraciones de algún grupo (Beatles por ejemplo).
Me refiero a los Love (‘Alone again or’ es uno de los mejores temas de la historia sin duda) y Lou Reed, con o sin la Velvet es imprescindible. Hay más ausencias pero éstas claman al cielo.
